Bio Dr. Felicia M. Owens
is a psychologist well known for her efforts being directed towards helping others intentionally perpetuate the quality of their life, develop growth and walk in their destiny. While developing her career, she has held numerous roles and positions, but three roles that have remained constant are those of Counselor, Coach, and Consultant. Dr. Owens has more than 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults, children, and parents in various settings including private practice, community churches, DCFS, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and college counseling centers. Her work has afforded her a range of experience working with minority families for the intentional purpose of strengthening service delivery to their communities resulting in valuable knowledge and understanding for addressing the multicultural factors that exist for these families.
Throughout her education, career, and ministry, Dr. Owens became skilled in motivational speaking, teaching, leadership development, and organizational management. She has conducted several successful workshops such as emotional management, business and balance, love and marriage, conflict resolution, and grief and loss, just to name a few. She is dedicated and actively involved in her church ministry where she serves as an elder, executive assistant to the senior pastor, and teacher. She is a traditional family woman who enjoys spending time with her entire family, both immediate and extended.
